Remember when we launched InternshipRatings.com? The success of the website is currently driving coverage from mainstream outlets such as Tech Crunch, Killer Startups, About.com, which each praise the site’s functionality, ease-of-use, and range of features. If you don’t remember the launch, here’s a quick refresher…
Gigi Girls partnered with Hydra Studio to develop an interactive strategy for IntershipRatings.com. Beginning with development consultation, the project soon came to encompass brand design, interface design, production, and programming.Since its launch in February 2008, the site’s been growing quickly as more and more internships from each geographic area and discipline increase the resource’s value to students, such as myself. (Just to check, the first thing I did on the job as Hydra’s new intern was to make sure that the studio isn’t on the site’s list of the worst 5 internships. It isn’t, to my relief.)
Several new features were recently released as Gigi Girls began to ramp up their marketing efforts. The most recent addition is a blog section titled “Take Note”. Take Note is a resource for prospecting students to gain valuable knowledge from industry professionals. The success of the blog, the recent press coverage, and the thousands of students returning from summer internship programs, has and will continue to generate quite a buzz for our friends over at IntersnshipRatings.com!
