Ever worked a bogus internship? Was it really worth the coffee? No worry, retribution is on the way. HYDRA has teamed up with Gigi Girls to create InternshipRatings.com. We built this project from the ground up; brand identity, brand guides, feature set consultation, information design, graphic design, and custom web development.
This progressive website has one purpose:
rate your internship experience. Site visitors have “read access” to all content on the site. Become a member, and you can add a company, rate an internship, and comment on your experience. Gigi Girls researched hundreds of college students in the NE to determine the criteria most important in choosing an internship. The site is of course WC3 standards compliant. It features a few interactive goodies like a Flash map, “find as you type” search, and the use of Javascript to maximize page space.
Now go! And let’s quickly get this site populated so it can become a valuable resource for the next generation of interns. Need more motivation? Just remember how much you got paid, your annoying boss, and the loads of grunt work that gave you such great “real world experience.”
